                       Veterans Day
1.      What is Veterans Day?
It is the anniversary of the end of World War 1 and to honor the U.S veterans and victims of all wars.
2.      What is the purpose of Veterans Day?
Veterans Day is an official United States federal holiday that is observed annually on November 11, honoring people who have served in the U.S Armed Forces, also known as veterans. It coincides with other holidays including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I (major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect).
3.      Why is it important to show honor and respect on Veterans Day?
It is important to show respect on Veterans Day because we have to appreciate what all the veterans did for this country.

It is in November 11.
5.      What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Veterans Day?
One way to honor Veterans Day is by Place flowers/flags on the graves of veterans.

The total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I was over 38 million: over 17 million deaths and 20 million wounded, ranking it among the deadliest conflicts in human history. 
8.      I believe it is important to respect the Veterans Day because they fight for our country thanks to them we are here. The Veterans gave their lives for us so we have to appreciate that.
